There can always be a discussion about which is the best Rift Warrior PVP build. The cool thing about Rift is that there are so many different kinds of ways to play your character. Of course there are cookie cutter builds as in many other games however before we get to that I will present some of the souls and which combination to take for the best Rift Warrior PVP build.

Paladin - this is a tank spec with low damage potential and is better for single target tanking. The abilities rely on blocking or counter to get small amount of healing and top of that some small shield buffs.

Paragon - Paragon is a dual wield spec which is DPS oriented.the most characteristic about this tree is that it is based on retaliation from Parry attacks and by buffing attacks on certain times. The DPS potential is very high

Riftblade - this is a spec which is primarily focused on utility and magic-based DPS. Early on most of the damage spells are range of but later on when you hit endgame only your melee abilities will scale because of your gear which means that they will be arguably stronger. The Riftblade soul is about a lot of AoE damage than a lot of crowd control plus a lot of anti crowd control.

Champion - is a spec which is two-handed DPS build. You can only attack from melee range however you have a skill which makes it possible to close the distance every 30th second. Most of this damage comes from buffed critical. Without the crits your damage will be kind of gimped. This is the bread and butter of most Rift warrior PvP build.

Beastmaster - pet class, this class is at the moment a bit broken because the pet does terrible damage even when it is buffed so this is not an optimal spec.

Reaver - offensive tank. This tank the opposite of the paladin spec. It is better against multiple enemies instead of the Paladin tank which primarily focus on single target enemies. The reason the Reaver can tank so well is because of damage reduction buffs and with the help of AoE healing.

VoidKnight - focuses primarily on disrupting spellcasters and keeping them some unleashing the full arsenal of their deadly spells. So basically it is a tank with a lots of resist towards magic which can be seen when one of the most devastating abilities in the game which is the ability to reflect a spell back to the caster and taking no damage whatsoever.

Warlord - Warlords are basically a buff class with the greatest strength as support and not a lot of players use this as their main tree.
